Brighton has many cafes and restaurants in the city centre. Update: because the conference venue has changed (it is now at the University of Brighton’s Moulsecoomb campus), a vegetarian/vegan lunch will be provided for all registered attendees on both conference days. This lunch is covered by registration fees, and will be provided by Lunch Positive – Brighton’s social support group for people living with HIV/AIDS.
Dietary Restrictions
Brighton has a large number of vegetarian and vegan residents. Consequently there are quite a few veggie/vegan restaurants, and and most restaurants will have several veggie/vegan options. Restaurants will also generally understand other dietary requirements e.g. pescetarian, gluten free, lactose free etc.
Conference dinner
Update: the conference dinner was previously scheduled for Tuesday Sept 3rd, but it will now be held on the evening of Monday Sept 2nd instead.
There will be a conference dinner held on the evening of Monday Sept 2nd (7pm @ Côte Brasserie). This can be booked at the same time as registration. Only a limited number of places (60) are available.
Post-conference drinks
We are not officially organising any post-conference socialising. However, if delegates wish to gather for a drink (alcoholic or not) on the evening of Tuesday Sept 3rd, we recommend the Charles Street Tap pub as a good LGBTQ venue with plenty of space.
